Free Consultation
30–60 minutes. Bring photos of your existing tattoo to our Seminyak studio, or send via WhatsApp before visiting. Our cover up artist will analyze size, density, age, color saturation, and skin condition. We then discuss design possibilities that are technically feasible for your specific situation.
Custom Design
Once we agree on the direction, our team creates a custom design specifically engineered to fully cover the existing ink. You receive the design for review and approval before any tattooing begins. Revisions are included.
Tattoo Session
3–8 hours, depending on complexity. Larger cover ups are often divided into two or more sessions, with 4–6 weeks of healing time between them. Numbing cream is available for clients who prefer it. Our station setup uses 100% disposable equipment and follows Australian hygiene protocols.
Healing & Touch Up
4–6 weeks. Cover ups typically require one to two touch up sessions after the initial healing to ensure full opacity and color saturation. The first touch up at Utopia Ink is always complimentary — included as part of your cover up service.
Long-term Aftercare
We provide a complete aftercare guide tailored to Bali’s tropical climate, plus product recommendations available at our shop. Healing in humid conditions requires specific care, and we walk you through every step.

We believe in honest expectations. Here is the reality of cover up work — what typically delivers great results, and what requires extra planning.
